Tax refund on items purchased at Tsuruya Main Bldg., East Bldg. (except Kumamon Square), WING Bldg. (including GAP), and New-S Bldg., can be claimed at Foreign Customer Service Counter of Tsuruya Main Bldg. 2F and New-S Building.

Tax refund on items purchased at the shops with this mark can be combined with items purchased at Tsuruya Department Store, and can be claimed together at Foreign Customer Service Counter of Tsuruya Main Building 2F.

How to get to Mt. Aso Crater?
A.
First take the 'Rapid Yamabiko' bus (Oita direction) at the bus stop in front of Hotel Nikko and transfer to 'Aso Crater Line' at the Aso Station, then get off the bus at Asosan Nishi-Eki (Mt.ASO). It will take about 3 hours.

You can take the city tram A-line or B-line (Kengunmachi direction) at Torichosuji tram station to Suizenji Park tram station. It will take about 30 mins.

How to get to Sakuranobaba Johsaien?

You can take the city tram A-line (Kumamoto Station direction) or B-line (Kamikumamoto Station direction) at Torichosuji tram station, then get off the tram at the Kumamoto Castle/City Hall tram station or the Hanabatacho tram station. It will take about 15 mins.
2.
You can take the 'Shiromegurin bus' from Kumamoto City Hall bus stop, then get off the bus at Sakura no Baba Josaien.

You can take the 'Shiromegurin bus' from Kumamoto City Hall bus stop, then get off the bus at Kumamoto Castle・Ninomaru Parking Lot. It will take about 10 mins walking there.

You can take the city tram A-line (Kumamoto Station direction) or B-line (Kamikumamoto Station direction) at Torichosuji tram station, then get off the tram at the Kumamoto Castle/City Hall tram station or the Hanabatacho tram station. It will take about 30 mins walking there.

First take the 'Kyusyu Odan Bus (Reservation needed)' (Beppu direction) at the bus stop in front of Nikko Hotel, then get off the bus at Kurokawa Onsen bus stop. It will take about 3 hours.

You can take the 'Airport Limousine Bus' (Aso Kumamoto Airport direction) at the bus stop in front of Nikko Hotel, then get off the bus at International Terminal bus stop. It will take about 1 hour.

You can take the city tram A-line (Kumamoto Station direction) at Torichosuji tram station, then tranfer to 'Shinkansen Sakura' or 'Shinkansen Tsubame' and get off at Shin-Yatsushiro Station. It will take about 50 mins.

You can take the city tram A-line (Kumamoto Station direction) at Torichosuji tram station, then transfer to 'JR Kagoshima Line' and get off at Shin-Yatsushiro Station. It will take about 1 hour 20 mins.

You can take the 'Hinokuni-go' (Fukuoka Airport direction) at the bus stop in front of Nikko Hotel, then get off the bus at Fukuoka Airport International Terminal. It will take about 2 hours.
[If you have the JR PASS]
You can take the city tram A-line (Kumamoto Station direction) at Torichosuji tram station. Take the 'Kyushu Shinkansen' to Hakata Station at the Kumamoto Station, then transfer to bus (Fukuoka Airport International Terminal direction) at the bus stop at Hakata Station Chikushi Entrance, then get off the bus at Fukuoka Airport International Terminal. It will take about 2 hours.

Where can I eat raw horse meat (Basashi)?

We have dishes of Basashi at the Family Restaurant Bone Chere on the 7F in the Main Building. If you prefer specialty restaurant you can proceed to Suganoya on the Ginzadori and Kamitori Arcade. For both restaurants it will take about 5 mins. walking from Tsuruya.
